Drought, Fire Risk, and Heat!

These three words will describe the weather we experience over the next several weeks. After a relatively cool week, the heat will return by Saturday with temperatures jumping into the 70s. Sunday through Tuesday the temperatures will jump even more into the 80s. Some areas may see temperatures jumping to around 86 degrees. Currently we are experiencing a moderate drought and as little rain falls over the next few weeks, we can expect the drought to become severe or extreme. Also with the heat, drought, and low humidity combined; the fire risk will remain elevated.
