GEORGETOWN, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say a woman injured when two pickup trucks crashed last week has died. Troopers say 80-year-old Mary Spicer of Laurel died Sunday at Shock Trauma in Baltimore, where she was flown after the April 16 crash. Police say 46-year-old Russell G. Spicer of Laurel was traveling eastbound on Old Furnace Road in Georgetown.
Authorities say when Russell Spicer made a left turn onto Rementer Road, a truck driven by 26-year-old Andrew Lamberton of Bridgeville hit Spicer's vehicle on the passenger side. Troopers say Spicer's vehicle traveled off the road and into a ditch. Mary Spicer was a passenger in Russell Spicer's vehicle. Russell Spicer was treated and released at a local hospital. The accident remains under investigation.
