SALISBURY, Md. - A Salisbury man is behind bars after attempting to fondle a teenager. Salisbury Police were called to Vine Street where a suspicious subject was reportedly seen trespassing on two different properties. Police report that Juan Lucas, 38, entered a yard where a 13-year-old was playing and attempted to fondle the juvenile. They say that Lucas ran when the property owner yelled out at him.
Authorities say that Lucas then moved on to the next property where he tried to enter the home, but the front door was locked. Officers state that they checked the area, located Lucas and attempted to arrest him, he reportedly became combative and tried to pull away from the officer. The officer reports they were able to control Lucas and place him in custody on charges of 4th degree sex offence, two counts of trespassing, and resisting arrest.
