Major Nor'easter
Major storm system to impact Delmarva from tonight through Monday morning. During this period we can expect extremely heavy, potentially drought busting rainfall, strong, potentially damaging winds, and thunderstorms. This is a much needed rain, but may be too much too quick which may cause some minor flooding. With the strong winds potentially gusting to 50mph it is possible there may be power outages and downed trees. Also coastal flooding and beach erosion is possible. Up to 2-4 inches of rain is possible. Thunderstorms overnight may be strong with gusty winds and small hail. The heaviest rain will impact the region Sunday afternoon.
