SALISBURY, Md. - It is time to get out to downtown Salisbury, have a great time, and enjoy weather. The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce presents the 30th Annual Salisbury Festival, April 27th-29th in downtown Salisbury and Riverwalk Park. There will be live entertainment, local artisans, shopping, carnival games and rides, children's activities, food, and so much more.
Many local non-profit organizations will have booths set up along Main Street to raise money to continue to do great things for the community. On Friday from 4-11PM there will be a family friendly block party. Saturday there will be a 5k run, a teddy bear tea party, and a classic car show. Saturday night there will also be a Craft Beer Tasting, in Riverwalk Park from 2-6PM, where participants can sample over 40 varieties of beer. Tickets are for the tasting are $30 and available at the Chamber or Sobo's Restaurant.
There will also be a Farmers Market, Flea Market, and cultural demonstrations. In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the festival the Chamber will also have cookbooks full of local recipes for sale. Admission to the Salisbury Festival is free, and parking in the Market Street garage will also be free the week of the event.
