BRIDGEVILLE, Del.- Delaware State Police have filed a second-degree kidnapping charge against a Tennessee man who picked up a 15-year-old Bridgeville girl earlier this week.
Detectives from Troop 4 have arrested Michael R. Rigsby, 23, of Lyles, Tenn. Information led detectives to the Bridgeville teen's location in Springfield, Va., where she and Rigsby were picked up by Fairfax County police.
The teen, who troopers said was picked up by Rigsby late Monday night, April 16, was returned to her parents unharmed. A warrant was obtained for Rigsby's arrest and he was held in Fairfax County until his extradition back to Delaware on Thursday afternoon.
Rigsby was arraigned on the aforementioned kidnapping charge and ordered held in the Sussex Correctional Institution on $20,000 cash bail
