OCEAN CITY, Md. - The town has made the switch from Pepsi to Coca Cola.
Vending machines were switched out Monday, as Fanta replaced Crush and Nestea took over Brisk.
Ocean City's contract, effective April 2, is valued at $286,172 over five years. Coke products will be served in all town events, including the upcoming Springfest in May.
The soft drink company will contribute $5,000 a year to the Ocean City Recreation Boosters. The deal succeeds a contract with Pepsi Bottling Ventures. Pepsi is still sponsoring the Dew Tour this summer in the resort-town.
