ACCOMACK COUNTY, Va. -Several fire departments worked to contain a woods fire in Accomack County Sunday evening.
According to Pocomoke City Fire department, the fire happened on Red Hills Road a little before 8 p.m.
Fire companies responding to the fire near Wallops Island included Pocomoke City, Girdletree and Accomack County.
As of late Sunday night, there were no immediate reports of any near by homes being effected.
