MILDORD, Del. (AP) - Authorities say a 63-year-old bicyclist was shot by someone in an SUV while crossing a highway in Milford.
Cpl. Robert W. Masten says the man was traveling across U.S. Route 113 when someone in an older model SUV fired multiple shots at him, 1 of which was struck him, about 5:30 p.m. Sunday. The vehicle then sped south on the highway.
The News Journal of Wilmington, Del., (http://tinyurl.com/cnr5kw3 ) reports that the victim was taken to Milford Memorial Hospital. Masten says the man's injuries were non-life-threatening.
Authorities are investigating.
