Wicomico County- After seeing all the conflict with the new school uniform policy its time for me to chime in. A few years ago Cathy Townsend had the same uniform policy mandated at Delmar High School, parents and students were outraged just like the Wicomico County parents are, I just happened to be one of those parents, I didn't want any school telling my kids what to wear. When my wife went school shopping for uniforms the first time I changed my mind, alot of stores has uniform sections now below is a ad from Walmart, parents just look at the " PRICES", not only will our kids look respectful, it wont cost you a arm and a leg. You can dress you child for a week for than $100.00, this choice is idiot proof.

Polo Shirt $7.47 x 5 = $37.35 Sports T-shirt $12.00 x 5 = $60.00
Pants $10.00 x 5 = $50.00 Cheep Jeans $16.00 x 5 = $80.00

This is just on place I went to get prices, you can go online and get better I am sure. Parents how many times has you child come home with a $20. shirt ripped from playing football at school? its a little easier to throw a $7.00 Shirt in the trash than a $20.00 shirt.
