SALISBURY, Md. - It's the moment many beer connoisseurs have been waiting for. After months of hard work and labor, owner Tom Knorr and his team have transformed the old Reddy Ice Factory into a bustling brewery, restaurant, and pub all in one.
"When they've been coming in they've said it doesn't feel like we're in Salisbury and that's what everyone said when they came into Sobos, which is nice to have an escape from your everyday routine to come to something special and new. So far, the feedback has been amazing," said Knorr.
They recently opened their Public House, serving up good, classic eats like brazed pork and grass-fed burgers, not to mention some Eastern Shore favorites like clams and crab cakes. However, the best is yet to come.
"For the past two to three weeks, our equipment has been coming in from all around the world. We're hoping to brew our first batch of beer next Thursday or Friday," said Knorr.
Once the final product is revealed, Knorr says he's got a few more tricks up his sleeve. The owner also tells us that they will be closing their Delmar location. He says another local brewer has bought the building, and will reveal their names in the near future.

I have seen their menu and it looks a little high brow to me. People will be drinking EVO with their pinkies in the air. I hope for Delmar's sake that the next brewer has a good product as I hope to support them.
