Delmar, Md.– The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office has arrested three juveniles accused of breaking into Delmar Elementary School and stealing laptop computers.
Police said that at around 12:32 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5, a deputy responded to an alarm at Delmar Elementary School. The deputy noticed a window of the school with a screen that was destroyed. During the investigation, the deputy learned the three juveniles had been running on the property wearing masks prior to the incident.
The deputy located one of the masked juveniles and took him into custody. The deputy later identified the other two juveniles and recovered the three stolen laptop computers.
The suspects, two of the minors were 15-year-old males and the other was a 17-year-old-male.
The juveniles were charged on a juvenile referral and released to a parent. The referrals will be sent to the Department of Juvenile Services for formal adjunction
