Delmar had a great evening on Tuesday at the D2 State Duals! Teams must qualify and apply. The teams which appear are selected by a committee. To be chosen is quite an honor and one that was not taken for granted by our tough group of wrestlers. They looked good and they were very competitive. Delmar definitely belonged there!
Today's trip to Conference is more of an "individual" tournament. They will wrestle other graplers in the Henlopen Conference for a chance to move on to the State Tournament. This time "it's all about you". The top 6 in each weight class will move on to the State Tournament next weekend.
Shout out to Dakota Harmon who is seeded first in his class, Josh Wells, seeded third in his class and Devene Spence who is seeded 6th in his. It was explained that after the 6th seed, the wrestlers are randomly placed. So, it could be that many of our wreslers flew under the radar this year and they are about to show us what they got!
