Salisbury Police Seek Armed Pharmacy Robber

SALISBURY, Md.- The Salisbury Police Department needs the public's help in finding an armed man who they said, robbed a pharmacy.

The robbery happened shortly before 2:00 p.m. Saturday, at the Peninsula Pharmacy on North Salisbury Boulevard.

Police said, a white male went inside the pharmacy and displayed a handgun with what appeared to be pearl handled grips.

They said, the man then jumped over the counter and demanded an unspecified number of prescription medication.

The man then took off and was last seen walking in the area of the Salisbury Mobile Home Park, authorities. 

Police said, no one was hurt in the incident.

The department released surveillance photos of the man who is described as six feet tall, weighing just under 200 pounds and wearing a dark blue coat with light blue jeans and latex gloves.
