WMDT 47 NEWS- The Sussex Consortium Autism Program will be holding two upcoming events in honor of Autism Awareness Month. This local organization services children and young adults from ages 2 to 21 with autism and other developmental disabilities all over Sussex County.
The Consortium's biggest event will be held on April 29th at 9 AM at Irish Eyes Pub and Restaurant in Lewis. The event includes a 5k walk and run fundraiser to raise money for the school and parents for professional development in autism.
Pre-registration for the upcoming event can be done through races2run.com but you can also register the day of the event.
