Delmar- Monday April 30, members of the Delmar Fire Department, Delmar Police Department and Mike Rittenhouse, pastor of The Tabernacle Church, visited the residents of Chestnut Manor Apartments as part of a community outreach to educate the residents on fire safety and police protection. they gave out Frisbee's and fire hats to the kids and gave them the opportunity to get a close up look at the firetruck and police car. After the recent murder at Chestnut Manor official thought this would be a great way to lighten the mood between resident and Emergency Responders. At the Council meeting Monday night, Mayor Carl Anderson Recognized all agencies that helped during the investigation.
