GREENWOOD, Del.- Delaware State Police are asking the public's help in locating a Lincoln sex offender wanted for failing to re-register his current address.
Warrants were issued for 62-year-old Albert B. Flemming's arrest, after troopers learned that he failed to register his current home, and had not notified authorities of his status within three days as he is required to do by law.
Flemming, who is a Tier 2 (moderate-risk) sex offender, is described as black, 6-foot-tall and 190 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. There have been reports taken from Scotts Store Road near Greenwood about a person matching Flemming's description, police said.
According to the Delaware Sex Offender Registry, Flemming was convicted in December 1994 of third-degree unlawful sexual penetration of a child less than 16 years of age.
Anyone with information on Flemming's whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1 or detectives at (302) 739-5882. Citizens may also provide a tip by texting keyword "DSP" plus your message to 274637 (CRIMES). Tipsters may also provide information through lines maintained by Delaware Crime Stoppers at (800) TIP-3333. Callers can also submit information via www.tipsubmit.com.
