Troopers Investigate Felton Shore Stop Robbery

FELTON, Del.- Troopers are investigating the robbery of a Felton convenience store that happened shortly after midnight on Friday.
Police said a suspect with sunglasses and a light colored towel draped over his head, entered the Shore Stop on South Dupont Highway and confronted the clerk who was standing behind the sales counter.

The suspect implied that he had a weapon and demanded money. The clerk complied and opened the register with the suspect reaching over the counter and removing money from the cash drawer. The man took off on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no injuries as a result of this incident.

Police described the suspect as a 6-foot-1-inch white man, weighing between 150-160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and sunglasses with a towel wrapped over his head.
