Double Shooting Suspect Sought by Del. Police

LAUREL, Del.- Delaware State Police are asking the public's help in looking for a suspect wanted in connection with a double shooting that occurred two months ago at the Carvel Gardens apartment complex in Laurel.
Troopers are looking for 27-year-old Darron J. Hines of Dover. He is wanted on an active warrant charging him with two counts of attempted first-degree murder and a single count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
According to police, Hines has been identified as the suspect involved in the shooting of a man and a woman at Carvel Gardens on Wednesday, March 14. The male victim was struck in the back and ankle, and the female victim was struck once in the lower back by numerous rounds. Both victims were taken to area hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
