Delmar Man Wanted For Writing Bad Checks

LAUREL, Del. - Delaware State Police need the public's help in locating a wanted man from Delmar, MD.
Police say on April 20, 43-year-old Samuel Disharoon paid for a shotgun from Branchy's Gun Shop in Laurel by writing a check. Disharoon allegedly returned to the gun shop on May 3 and bought more items on the same checking account. Authorities say the shop owner learned through the bank that the checks, totaling more than $1,300.00, were no good.
Detectives believe Disharoon may have issued bad checks at other businesses throughout Sussex County.
Anyone with information on this incident or any others should call Troop 4 at 302-856-5850 ext. 207 or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333. Tips can also be provided via the internet at www.tipsubmit.com.
