Bringing Business Downtown

SALISBURY, Md. - The mission to bring downtown Salisbury back to life is making progress. New businesses have been drawing more and more people to the plaza. La-Shay bridal and formal boutique celebrated their grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony today. The new Plaza Deli that opened a few weeks ago, has had people lined out the door. Owner Paul Devita says business has been booming, "I was expecting to do these numbers probably about 6 months from now. Everybody seems to be taking it on really well - it's phenomenal the response we're getting. I have no complaints. I'm very very happy with the response we're getting from the community - the community has been very very supportive."
