SALISBURY, Md., - Wicomico County district one residents had a chance to voice their concerns with their elected officials tonight in a public forum. Hosted by Councilwoman Sheree Sample-Hughes. Residents of district one had a chance to speak with county officials. The forum focused on the anticipated local effects of this year's General Assembly session and the upcoming Fiscal Year budget.
Councilwoman Sheree Sample-Hughes says, "I'm making decisions on behalf of the constituents, and I want to be in-tune with what they're concerns are", "Its just important for them to be engaged. And understand what's going on and how I'm voting on issues and just to keep me accountable as a elected official", she continues.
The County Council meets every first and third Tuesday of every month.
