30 Wicomico Businesses Pass Alcohol Compliance Check

SALISBURY, Md.- Authorities have announced that out of 30 businesses checked, none sold alcohol to underage persons during a routine Wicomico County Alcohol Task Force compliance check conducted on Tuesday.

Named "Operation Spot Check" and "Operation ID Check," the operations involved the use of Maryland State Police cadets for sales to underage persons at various licensed establishments throughout the county.

John Groncki, chief liquor license inspector for the Wicomico Board of [Liquor] License Commissioners, said all of the following licensed businesses were checked and none failed, resulting in 100 percent compliance of the law:
