Preston Man Charged With Online Child Exploitation Crimes

PRESTON, Md. - A Preston man has been indicted on child enticement and obscenity charges.
Police arrested 38-year-old Stanley Eugene Morris last November, after he allegedly used a web camera to show explicit videos of himself to a person who he believed to be a 14-year-old Dover girl.  However, he was actually contacting an undercover agent. Police say Morris engaged in numerous online sexual conversations with the undercover agent for two months and discussed meeting in person for sex.
If convicted, Morris faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years, to life, in prison on the child enticement charge.  He also faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison on the transfer of obscenity charge.  Morris would also have to register as a sex offender in any jurisdiction in which he lives, works or attends school.
