GEORGETOWN, Del. - Delaware State Police have arrested a Seaford man in connection with two bomb threats made to schools in Sussex County.
38-year-old David C. Detwiler was taken into custody after investigators traced calls he made from his phone to two different schools in Georgetown. The most recent incident happened Tuesday at Georgetown Elementary School and the first occurred exactly one week prior at the Howard T. Ennis School.
Police sent in bomb-sniffing dogs to search the building. Nothing was found in either incident.
Detwiler has been charged with two felony counts of terroristic threatening and was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institute on $6,000 secured bail.
