BRIDGEVILLE, Del.- An online undercover investigation by the Delaware Child Predator Task Force has led to the arrest of a Bridgeville man on child pornography charges.
According to the Delaware Attorney General's Office, the investigation led to the execution of a search warrant on Thursday, March 1, Task Force personnel and a Delaware State Police trooper to a home at 20951 San Filippio Road in Bridgeville.
As a result of the search warrant detectives seized one computer and other digital media. Investigators said the sole occupant of the home, 54-year-old Terry Keith Baker, denied dealing in child pornography. Authorities said that although an initial preview of the computer suggested that files containing child pornography had been on the machine at some point, no images were found during the preliminary investigation. Baker was released pending further investigation.
Investigators said the digital evidence was transported to the Delaware State Police High Technology Crimes Unit for a forensic analysis, which revealed over 30 files of child pornography that had been transferred from the computer to a disk. As a result of those alleged findings, Baker was arrested on Monday, March 12, and charged with 25 counts of dealing in child pornography. He was ordered held at the Sussex Correctional Institute in lieu of $250,000 bail.
