CORDOVA, Md.- Authorities have charged a Talbot County Public Schools bus driver accused of assaulting an 11-year-old boy.
The county sheriff's office reports that on Monday, March 5, deputies responded to Easton Middle School to investigate an assault that allegedly occurred on a bus belonging to Talbot County Public Schools.
According to the Sheriff's Office, an investigation revealed that an 11-year-old boy from Easton Middle School had been assaulted by the school bus driver while being transported home from school.
The driver, 59-year-old David Donaldson Kelly of Royal Oak, Md., was charged with second-degree assault and released upon his signature on a criminal summons.
