SALISBURY, Md., - The city of Salisbury broke ground today for its elevated storage tank project. This project includes the construction of a 2-million gallon tank between Milford street and Power street. The tank will better equip the city with water during emergencies.
"It's going to increase the capacity storage capacity for the city by 2 million gallons, it'll also help with the pressure system as well as fire protection", says project manager Tim Mills. The project should be completed by the end of March 2013.
