Del. flags lowered in honor of Maurice Moyer

DOVER, Del. (AP) - Delaware Gov. Jack Markell has ordered flags in Wilmington and New Castle County lowered in honor of a longtime civil rights leader who has died.
Flags are to fly at half-staff beginning Wednesday morning in honor of the Rev. Maurice Moyer.
The 93-year-old Moyer was the former head of the Wilmington branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People and pastor of the Community Presbyterian Church
