Accident Involving A Police Cruiser

CAMBRIDGE, Md. - Two people were taken to the hospital after a car and a police cruiser collided.
Cambridge Police report that on Friday morning a marked police vehicle was driving on Sunburst Highway with lights and sirens on attempting to stop a traffic violator, when another vehicle being operated by Bonnie Laird of Secretary, MD, pulled into the path of the police cruiser. They say that the vehicles collided in the intersection.
Both drivers were taken to area hospitals, treated, and released. The investigation into this case is on-going.
