Delmar. Thursday, underage  Maryland State Police Cadets went to the Delmar Dinner located on Rt 13 and purchaesed alcohol with thier meal. This was part of Operation Spot Check,  performed by the Maryland State Police to keep the sale of alcohol to minors under control. Delmar Dinner was just one of three businesses in Wicomico  County that failed this sting operation, Chilli's Bar and Grille and Shore Stop on Snowhill rd also failed to comply. These businesses will be summoned before the Board of License commissioners for a show cause hearing whereupon a fine or a suspension or both may be levied against their license. The clerks who sold the alcohol to the cadet will be charged criminally by the officers of the task force
