Del. Mayor Reveals Parking Tickets, Penalties

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - The city of Wilmington says Mayor James M. Baker has received about 30 parking tickets since taking office in 2001.
On Friday, Baker paid a $40 ticket and $40 penalty for a violation of limited-time parking in front of his home. His residential parking ticket had expired. He's also recently paid a $40 ticket and $20 ticket after being cited for having been parked in the same spot for more than two hours.
The city says Baker has received 29 other tickets since becoming mayor in 2001. The city says 25 of those tickets had been paid and the four others were dismissed.
The city said this week that it would take steps to address public concerns about aggressive parking enforcement
