OCEAN CITY, Md. - A woman is behind bars after allegedly hitting her brother with a car. Ocean City Police report that Ladon Chimere Thomas, 28, of Washington, DC, had a verbal argument that led to an physical altercation with her brother. After the fight, Police say that Thomas then got into her car, deliberately swerved onto the sidewalk, and hit her brother from the back. They say that the car then collided with a real estate office, causing damage to the business.
During the arrest police say that Thomas assaulted an officer. Thomas was charged with 1st and 2nd degree assault and 2nd degree assault on a police officer. Charges for several traffic violations related to the collision are pending, and the investigation
