SALISBURY, Md. - Soon there's going to be a bar inside the Wicomico County Public Library. No, it won't serve alcohol, but it will give locals access to some of the latest gadgets. The technology bar is going right next to the Adult Information desk at the main branch and will have a Nook, a color Nook, a Kindle and an iPad.
Mindy Malette, Wicomico Library's Adult Services Manager says, "The library is developing and its not just a physical book all the time anymore, other formats have always been popular, like recorded books. Now that these are available more and more people are coming in to use them."
The technology bar is set to open on Friday, May 4
