Car Windows shotout on Route 90

Maryland State Police are today asking residents of Ocean Pines to call them if they have any information regarding a person in a wooded area firing a pellet gun at vehicles on Route 90 Wednesday night.
MSP and Ocean Pines Police responded to eastbound Route 90, east of the Route 589 ramp just after 6 p.m. for reports of two separate victims; the victims told police their windows of their vehicles were shattered as they were driving on Route 90.
One of the victims was struck in the shoulder by a projectile after it shattered the front passenger window; the victim however was not injured.
Police say they believe the suspect was firing the pellet gun from a pathway in the woods alongside Route 90 that backs up to homes in Ocean Pines.
No suspect was ever located Wednesday night.
