Thousands of Birds Killed in Chicken House Fire

SALISBURY, Md.- Authorities are investigating an early Thursday chicken house fire that killed approximately 60,000 birds in the Allen area of Wicomico County.
According to the Salisbury Fire Department's website, the call came down at around 3:30 a.m.
Apart from the chickens that died in the blaze, there were no reported injuries.
The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating.

this reminds me of when the shoe factory caught fire in Salisbury. 5,000 souls were lost.
