WCBOE Is Still Quiet About The release Of 2 Employees
While the hot topic these days is Bennett Middle School, some still wonder what happened to the two employees fired and escorted from WCBOE ? After talking to several employees of the WCBOE, no one seems to know, most say its being kept "Hush Hush". Some are saying they would not "Go with the flow", any longer. Wicomico County, this is your tax dollars, it looks like WCBOE and County Officials are covering it up with the BMS issues. Fact is, the issue is still on hand and its time for answers. Befor this issue gets out of hand, WCBOE needs to have a press release. How do you stand on this issue ?

There is a fine line when it comes to personnel issues and the government. I believe in transparency, but I also believe that peopl's personnel files should remain private unless they were fired for misappropriation of funds, embezzlement, that sory of thing.
10:57 AM,I do agree with you, however the press ran loose with this story at the begining and without comments from the wcboe it makes some wonder, was it a simple personal issue such as job performance or was their unlawful misconduct, keep in mind their were two released at the same time, thats why eyebrows are raised. I have been told the union was involved long befor they were terminated.
The press didn't run with anything, another blog did. The info was obviously obtained from sources within the WCBOE. It was announced and all sorts of rumors began. So, who really knows what happened and is it really ours to know?
1:19 PM On On January 4, Delmarva now ran this story, and yes rumors have been getting around, now is it ours to know? if you are a Wicomico County tax payer yes it is. If thier is something going on underhanded it is the tax payers right to know, if it is just personal issues, than it needs to be stated that way. We trust that our elected county officers make the best choices when they oppoint BOE leaders, we also trust those oppointed board leaders are in full control of Wicomico County Schools and our kids education.
