Interim State Superintendent of Schools Bernard Sadusky and educators from six Maryland schools and school systems will attend the event Tuesday in Baltimore.
The awards are given under a state and national program that recognizes schools that exhibit high performance or significant improvement in reading and math as measured by state tests.
Schools from Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Harford, Montgomery, Prince George's and Worcester counties will be named recipients of the 2012 Blue Ribbon School Awards
