Third Suspect Arrested in Delmar Apartment Shooting

DELMAR, Md.- Detectives with the Wicomico County Bureau of Investigation have arrested the third of three suspects wanted in connection with Thursday's fatal shooting of 26-year-old Euric C. George at the Chester Manor Apartments in Delmar.
Twenty-six-year-old Randy Clayton of Delmar was taken into custody on Sunday. Two other suspects, 23-year-old Joseph Holland and 23-year-old Bilal Akram, also of Delmar, were taken into custody last week.
All three suspects are facing multiple charges, including first- and second-degree murder.
The suspects' arrests stemmed from a shooting that occurred Thursday. Multiple gunshots were heard at the Chestnut Manor Apartments on East Chestnut Street in Delmar at around 5 p.m. Several neighbors responded and found a man unresponsive in the apartment complex's parking lot.
Delmar police said the victim, identified as Euric George, had been shot multiple times. He later died from his injuries at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Police said George may have been involved in a stabbing several weeks earlier in Delmar, but investigators are still trying to confirm that information
